		<description>Great stuff here.  I think you provided a nice entry-level guide to SEO.  I&#039;ll throw in an opinion about PageRank... by itself it doesn&#039;t really matter.  That is, having a PR of 3 does not specifically handicap you versus another site with a PR of 6.  Rather, I think of PR as a barometer... if you have a high PR then that means you like have many good inbound links, and that is what really matters.  Most of the times sites with many good inbound links have high PR, and they also rank well.  &quot;Good rankings&quot; and &quot;high PR&quot; as both results of having &quot;many good inbound links&quot;.  That said, there are scenarios where a site can have a high PR w/o many good inbound links (maybe they are weighty sites but are all off-topic) and thus the PR is inflated and the site doesn&#039;t rank well.

Just under that PR is more of a result of other factors than a factor itself.</description>
